AuTeBa has developed our SMI specifically for smaller businesses with automated production processes. In a standard module, all automation data are merged in the SMI interface and transmitted from there – and this standardisation means even small business units can introduce professional automation. It’s fast, efficient and flexible.

Installing AuTeBa SMI is very easy: all you need is a power supply, an internet connection and a connection to your system network. The system uses the existing infrastructure, sensors and actuators to collect data, while a physically separate network connection prevents unauthorised access to your system network. Take your operations into your own hands!

The data generated by AuTeBa SMI are processed by a PLC control module, encrypted and sent to the cloud via a gateway device, where they’re archived for long-term storage and can be accessed when required – via a PC or using mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets. This gives you full independence, and you can conduct detailed analyses and comparisons of your machine and system data at any time. You can then identify potential improvements which help make your business more productive and economical in the long run, such as how you use energy and raw materials or how you can make specific adaptations to production stages, sorting lines and delivery processes.
