Artificial intelligence will shape the development of automation technology

Innovation and progress are at the heart of how the technologies of tomorrow are developed.

We’re witnessing increasing integration of artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics in our everyday life. Networking devices and using large quantities of data will play a key role in enhancing smart systems and automation. Technology will be geared more and more towards the needs of human beings by providing solutions to complex problems and improving our lifestyle – whether it’s autonomous vehicles, smart homes or medical breakthroughs, future technology will create new opportunities for us and transform our world in many different ways.

But we will also need to overcome challenges such as privacy, ethical questions and the potential social impacts of the new technology. While the technology of tomorrow will open up new horizons for us, we have to handle it responsibly and use it for the benefit of all.

So at AuTeBa, we think it’s important to keep our finger on the pulse and stay up to date with AI – we can only predict what the technology can do for us if we’re familiar with the latest developments. That will allow us to achieve one of our key goals, which is to develop innovative software solutions using AI.

We believe that automation with AI will lead to major changes in cement plants, logistics processes and industry in the months and years to come. In future, algorithms and predictive models will be used for analysis of large quantities of data to enable predictive maintenance of systems, so that defective components can be anticipated with high levels of accuracy and downtimes can be reduced to an absolute minimum. And we also expect great progress to be made in how we consume and use energy.

To keep pace with these developments, we work closely alongside our parent company and the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Kaiserslautern. We regularly have staff who study for their PhD at the DFKI.
